About the Artist
Hi, I’m Arelis Peña
I’m a digital illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Texas. Through Bamboo Visual, I create illustrations and surface patterns inspired by nature, imagination and the everyday magic around us.
I love transforming flowers, animals, dreamy landscapes and quiet moments into distinctive designs for textiles, stationery, products and creative projects. My work is made to bring beauty, warmth and a touch of wonder to the spaces and brands that choose it, and I enjoy collaborating with people and businesses looking for original illustration and thoughtful visual concepts. Thank you for joining me on this creative journey.
What inspires my art
Moonlit nights, kind animals, old books, cozy rituals, wild gardens and the quiet magic of everyday life.
Nature & gentle wonder
Botanical details and small creatures help me create worlds that feel calm, warm and full of possibility.
Little stories
Every illustration begins with a feeling, a character or a quiet moment waiting to become a story.
Thoughtful design
I create artwork with care so it can live beautifully on products, walls, paper goods and more.
My creative process
1. Sketch
Ideas begin with simple sketches and the first small details of a new world.
2. Illustrate
I bring each piece to life digitally with flowing lines, soft color and care.
3. Share
Finished artwork becomes part of a collection, a product or a thoughtful collaboration.
